By now Boris was running out of, or getting fed up with, myths and legends and from hereon the calendars, with the exception of that for 1997, consist of fantasy art only. In addition, Boris was finding that writing the commentaries for the paintings was a bit of a chore so the author Philip José Farmer was engaged to take over this role and he continued to do so until 1999.
