Trading Cards: Boris

This, Boris' first trading card set, was produced by Comic Images in 1991. The cards are the standard 3.5" x 2.5" size, printed with full bleed (colour right to the edges of the cards.) There is, in addition to the basic set, a signature card. This was the first ever fantasy art trading card set, published in 1991. The signature card differs from later incarnations, in that the face of the card is overprinted in black with the copyright date at the top and at the bottom with the words "Boris Autograph Card" and below this "Title: Diving", and the back of the card is blank and is signed with a black ball-point pen. It is not clear whether this set was reprinted. Some of the boxes bore stickers saying "signature series" and some didn't. In addition to the autograph card there is also an uncut sheet showing the entire 90 card set.

The cards are listed below in numerical order. The images are included purely to give an idea of what's in the card set, and there is no larger image behind the thumbnail. Where the images don't conform to the 7x5 ratio, this is because the image was taken from the CD, which has the entire painting where the cards must necessarily include a portion only.
