In 1968 Boris undertook some private work, to raise extra money, so that he could bring his sister Patricia to the USA. The work in question was to illustrate the story Green Berets for the magazine Fight the Enemy. This was in addition to his normal job so he worked throughout the night to earn his fee of $200. In keeping with normal practice, the work was in black and white and without any text – the lettering and colour would have been added by other artists. I only have a scan of the original artwork for the first page so, for the sake of consistency, I present here the published versions of the artwork.
