As the title implies, the theme of this book is Boris' and Julie's sketches: it covers the whole gamut of their work from their initial rough design sketches through to the artwork preliminary sketches, finished drawings and, in the final chapter, their practice life drawings. As might be expected, most of the drawings are monochrome so many have been given coloured backgrounds as compensation. The format is much the same as Dreams with one exception - no specific information is given as to who executed each piece! In many cases the artwork is signed but for the others I have had to make an educated guess. Also note that I have ignored any rough drawings and only included artworks that are more or less complete.
I have decided to include chapter 5 even though the artworks are all sketches – the alternative was to omit the chapter entirely – but I have to admit that at the size they are reproduced here quite a few of them look like finished drawings! One of the sketches is signed but,with that one exception, none of the drawings are attributed nor is there any commentary.
